- 1 lb (450g) ground sausage
- 1 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the ground sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks, for about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet, stirring continuously until melted and well combined.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and drained Rotel diced tomatoes. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Continue stirring until cheeses melt and dip is creamy.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies!
Notes
Consider adding cayenne or chili powder for heat. Serve in a warm bread bowl for an exciting presentation.
