Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground sausage
  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks, for about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet, stirring continuously until melted and well combined.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and drained Rotel diced tomatoes. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Continue stirring until cheeses melt and dip is creamy.
  4. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies!

Notes

Consider adding cayenne or chili powder for heat. Serve in a warm bread bowl for an exciting presentation.
