Description
Delicious burritos filled with seasoned ground beef, creamy nacho cheese, and zesty toppings, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 can Rotel (green chilis with diced tomatoes)
- 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- Nacho cheese flavored Doritos, crushed
- 4 large flour tortilla wraps
- Shredded lettuce
Instructions
- Begin by heating a skillet over medium heat, adding the ground beef. Brown the beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and drain any excess fat.
- Once the beef is browned, add the diced onions and chopped green peppers. Sauté for about 4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Next, sprinkle in the taco seasoning mix, stirring until the beef and vegetables are coated.
- In a separate bowl, combine the Rotel with the nacho cheese sauce. Mix until smooth.
- Lay out the tortillas on a flat surface. Spoon a layer of the cheese mixture down the center of each tortilla.
- On top of the cheese mixture, add the beef mixture, followed by sour cream, diced onions, green peppers, and crushed Doritos.
- To form the burritos, fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly from the base upwards.
- Return to the skillet, placing the rolled burritos seam-side down. Toast them until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with shredded lettuce and any additional toppings you desire.
Notes
For added flavor, sprinkle shredded cheese on top before toasting. You can also make the filling in advance.
