Description

Delicious burritos filled with seasoned ground beef, creamy nacho cheese, and zesty toppings, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can Rotel (green chilis with diced tomatoes)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • Nacho cheese flavored Doritos, crushed
  • 4 large flour tortilla wraps
  • Shredded lettuce

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating a skillet over medium heat, adding the ground beef. Brown the beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and drain any excess fat.
  2. Once the beef is browned, add the diced onions and chopped green peppers. Sauté for about 4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Next, sprinkle in the taco seasoning mix, stirring until the beef and vegetables are coated.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the Rotel with the nacho cheese sauce. Mix until smooth.
  5. Lay out the tortillas on a flat surface. Spoon a layer of the cheese mixture down the center of each tortilla.
  6. On top of the cheese mixture, add the beef mixture, followed by sour cream, diced onions, green peppers, and crushed Doritos.
  7. To form the burritos, fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly from the base upwards.
  8. Return to the skillet, placing the rolled burritos seam-side down. Toast them until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve hot with shredded lettuce and any additional toppings you desire.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle shredded cheese on top before toasting. You can also make the filling in advance.
