- 1 pound chicken breasts, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, freshly grated
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, freshly grated
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup creamy garlic sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, optional for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the chicken is well coated in the spices.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and sauté for 6-8 minutes, or until cooked through and no longer pink.
- Lay the tortillas flat and spread approximately 1 tablespoon of creamy garlic sauce on each.
- Distribute the cooked chicken evenly among the tortillas, then top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Fold the tortillas tightly to create wraps and return them to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Slice the wraps in half, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the olive oil and spices for an hour before cooking. These wraps can also be made with beef or sautéed vegetables for a vegetarian option.
