Description

A delicious fusion of classic cheeseburgers and crispy egg rolls, perfect for gatherings or game nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 6 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat, adding ground beef and diced onions. Cook until the beef is browned and drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let cool slightly.
  3. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese until combined.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling into each egg roll wrapper, roll tightly, and seal edges with beaten egg.
  5. Heat oil in deep-fryer to 350°F (175°C) and fry egg rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure oil temperature is correct before frying to achieve a crunchy texture. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
