- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 box of brownie mix
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons water
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Grease and line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
- Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions.
- Bake the brownies for 20 minutes and set aside to cool.
- Beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the sour cream until fully combined.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the brownie layer.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cheesecake layer and swirl it into the batter.
- Bake the cheesecake for 50-60 minutes, until the edges are set.
- Turn off the oven and cool the cheesecake gradually with the door slightly open.
- Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
- Drizzle extra caramel sauce over the top before serving.
Notes
For an extra chocolatey taste, consider adding chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
