Description

Rich, creamy, and spiced Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta offers a delightful blend of flavors and textures, elevating your culinary skills.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the fettuccine according to the package instructions. Once tender, drain and set aside.
  2. Toss the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning in a mixing bowl.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet.
  4. Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and introduce the steak slices, seasoning with the rest of the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes and remove from skillet.
  5. Sauté the garlic in the skillet for about a minute, then pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and mix until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return the shrimp and steak to the skillet, along with the cooked fettuccine, and toss to combine.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are cooked just until pink to avoid rubbery texture. Slice steak against the grain for tenderness.
