- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into strips
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the fettuccine according to the package instructions. Once tender, drain and set aside.
- Toss the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning in a mixing bowl.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and introduce the steak slices, seasoning with the rest of the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes and remove from skillet.
- Sauté the garlic in the skillet for about a minute, then pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and mix until the sauce thickens.
- Return the shrimp and steak to the skillet, along with the cooked fettuccine, and toss to combine.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
