Description

A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring shrimp and steak in a creamy Alfredo sauce, infused with Cajun spices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 pound penne pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil and add a generous pinch of salt. Toss in the penne pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside.
  2. Season the Steak and Shrimp: In a bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss the thin steak slices and shrimp in the bowl, ensuring they’re well-coated.
  3. Cook the Steak: In a hot skillet, grill or sauté the seasoned steak slices until cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and sauté the shrimp until they turn pink.
  5. Make the Alfredo Sauce: Combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper. Let simmer over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes.
  6. Combine Everything: Add the cooked steak and shrimp to the Alfredo sauce, then fold in the drained penne pasta.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Plate the dish and savor the flavors with loved ones or as a personal treat.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are halal-friendly. Avoid overcooking shrimp to maintain tenderness.
