Description
A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring shrimp and steak in a creamy Alfredo sauce, infused with Cajun spices.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 pound penne pasta
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil and add a generous pinch of salt. Toss in the penne pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside.
- Season the Steak and Shrimp: In a bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss the thin steak slices and shrimp in the bowl, ensuring they’re well-coated.
- Cook the Steak: In a hot skillet, grill or sauté the seasoned steak slices until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and sauté the shrimp until they turn pink.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: Combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper. Let simmer over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes.
- Combine Everything: Add the cooked steak and shrimp to the Alfredo sauce, then fold in the drained penne pasta.
- Serve and Enjoy: Plate the dish and savor the flavors with loved ones or as a personal treat.
