Description

Cajun Honey Butter Salmon features succulent salmon fillets seared to perfection and drizzled with a luscious honey butter sauce infused with garlic and Cajun spices.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear salmon fillets skin-side down for 4-5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add butter, minced garlic, and honey to the skillet, stirring until bubbly, then mix in fresh lemon juice.
  5. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the honey butter sauce over it, allowing it to simmer for another 2 minutes.
  6. Plate the salmon fillets, drizzle with extra sauce, and garnish with parsley. Serve with lemon wedges.
