- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup blueberry jam or preserves

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 9-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
- Mix together 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, and 1/4 tsp salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream 1 cup of softened unsalted butter and 1 1/4 cups of granulated sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour mixture and 1/2 cup of whole milk to the butter mixture, alternating dry and wet. Gently fold in fresh blueberries.
- Bake the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans for 25–28 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- Prepare the cream filling by beating 8 oz softened cream cheese until smooth. Whip 1 cup heavy whipping cream with 1/2 cup powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1/2 cup blueberry jam.
- Assemble the cake by spreading cream filling on the first layer and topping with the second, then spread the remaining cream on top.
- Chill the assembled cake in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for better emulsification. Blueberries should be at room temperature for juiciness.
