Instructions

- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until fully combined.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Roll the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Make a small indentation in the center of each dough ball.
- Fill each indentation with a small spoonful of blackberry jam.
- Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack and dusting with powdered sugar.
