Description

A comforting dish of pasta enveloped in marinara sauce, topped with cheese and savory meatballs, all baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti, cooked & drained
  • 15–20 cooked meatballs (homemade or frozen & thawed)
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 egg
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Combine the cooked spaghetti, egg, 1/2 cup mozzarella, and a few spoonfuls of marinara sauce in a large bowl.
  4. Spread the spaghetti mixture across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Distribute the meatballs evenly over the spaghetti layer.
  6. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and a pinch of pepper.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.
  10. Cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Consider using fresh herbs or different cheeses for enhanced flavor.
