Description

A quick and delicious way to enjoy classic hamburgers made in the air fryer for a healthier and easier cooking experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese (optional)
  • Fresh lettuce
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced onions
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, place the ground beef and break it up gently to make it easier to mix.
  2. Divide the meat into four equal portions and shape each into a 3/4-inch thick patty.
  3. Create a small dip in the center of each patty.
  4. Season the patties with garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  6. Place the patties in the air fryer basket, ensuring there’s space between each.
  7. Air fry the patties for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  8. Toast the hamburger buns in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes just before the burgers are done.
  9. If using cheese, add a slice during the last two minutes of cooking.
  10. Let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and your preferred condiments.
