- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (optional)
- Fresh lettuce
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced onions
- Condiments (ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, place the ground beef and break it up gently to make it easier to mix.
- Divide the meat into four equal portions and shape each into a 3/4-inch thick patty.
- Create a small dip in the center of each patty.
- Season the patties with garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket, ensuring there’s space between each.
- Air fry the patties for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Toast the hamburger buns in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes just before the burgers are done.
- If using cheese, add a slice during the last two minutes of cooking.
- Let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and your preferred condiments.
