  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Cooking spray
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until well blended.
  2. Set up your breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Take a spoonful of the chicken mixture and shape it into a stick. Dip it in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket with cooking spray.
  5. Arrange the mozzarella sticks in a single layer in the air fryer, lightly spraying the tops with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the sticks and let them cool slightly. Garnish with parsley.
  8. Serve with extra buffalo sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

For extra crispiness, consider double-dipping the mozzarella sticks in egg and breadcrumbs. Let cool slightly after frying to hold their shape better.
