- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Cooking spray
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until well blended.
- Set up your breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Take a spoonful of the chicken mixture and shape it into a stick. Dip it in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the mozzarella sticks in a single layer in the air fryer, lightly spraying the tops with cooking spray.
- Air fry for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the sticks and let them cool slightly. Garnish with parsley.
- Serve with extra buffalo sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
Notes
For extra crispiness, consider double-dipping the mozzarella sticks in egg and breadcrumbs. Let cool slightly after frying to hold their shape better.
