Description

Deliciously crispy Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Mozzarella Sticks with a spicy kick and gooey cheese, perfect for parties or cozy nights.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch!)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Cooking spray
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese.
  2. Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a third bowl.
  3. Take a spoonful of the chicken mixture and shape it into a stick. Dip it first into the flour, then into the egg, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Arrange the mozzarella sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, lightly spraying the tops with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Once done, remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  8. Serve with extra buffalo sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

For extra crunch, use Panko breadcrumbs. You can customize the heat of the buffalo sauce by adding honey or garlic powder.
