Description

Juicy chicken skewers coated in a spicy-sweet bang bang sauce, perfect for a flavorful meal any night of the week.


Ingredients

  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
  • 2/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha, or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Combine the cubed chicken breasts with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Toss until all the chicken pieces are evenly coated.
  2. Take the soaked wooden skewers and thread 4-5 pieces of the seasoned chicken onto each, leaving space between pieces.
  3. Mix mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey in a small bowl for the bang bang sauce. Reserve half for serving.
  4. Place the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook at 400°F for 11-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Serve skewers drizzled or brushed with the reserved bang bang sauce.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate chicken in spices for 30 minutes before threading onto skewers. Adjust Sriracha for desired spice level.
